The Excellence in Education award honors Iowa's professional educators who demonstrate excellence every day for their students and schools. This recognition program is sponsored by the Iowa State Education Association and the winner receives a check for $1,000.

In addition to completing the nomination form, you must submit a brief essay (no more than 1,000 words) explaining why you are nominating this education professional for the Excellence Education Award. Refer to the nomination form for more information. The Nomination period is January 15 through March 1.
